The Science behind BIO-LOGIC

With BIO-LOGIC what you can’t see may be helping you the most.

BIO-LOGIC Pit Maintenance

BIO-LOGIC is a bacteria cultured through a very selective hermetic fermentation process specified for pork, beef, dairy and poultry production.

BIO-LOGIC is a safe, highly concentrated consortium of facultative aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, selected from nature and adapted for optimum performance. These strains of bacteria secrete a greater concentration of enzymes than naturally occurring bacteria, resulting in a superior performance.

BIO-LOGIC contains a natural “proprietary” growth stimulant which increases the ability of the micro-organisms to better use nutrients and work together with existing bacteria in a synergistic manner, meaning – it takes less to accomplish more.

BIO-LOGIC can be used to breakdown the solid matter in any wastewater system that has retention time, including industrial, commercial and residential sites.

BIO-LOGIC is highly effective in reducing ammonia and hydrogen sulfide gases, lowering B.O.D. and C.O.D. levels, and in breaking down grease, oil and other organic suspended solids.

BIO-LOGIC acts through the process of bioaugmentation, whereby the addition of properly selected micro-organism cultures supplement the activity of naturally occurring bacteria in conjunction with, or independent of other waste management technologies.

Bioaugmentation ensures that the correct micro-organism is present in the substrate in sufficient number of efficiently and effectively attack waste constituents and break them down to their basic innocuous components. This technique is commonly practiced in sewage treatment facilities, by increasing biological efficiency through programmed additions of specific bacterial species. According to the Office of Technology Assessment, Washington, DF.C., the use of bioaugmentation to enhance biodegradation is less expensive than any other approach to digesting organic waste.
